BILA77 is seeking a highly creative and trend-driven Associate Designer to support the development of our Junior market brand, Patrons of Peace and our Young Contemporary collections. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, detail-oriented, and excited to grow within a fast-paced contemporary apparel environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for color, print, silhouette, and emerging trends, with a deep understanding of the Junior and Young Contemporary customer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of seasonal collections from concept to production
- Research fashion trends, color direction, fabrics, prints, trims, and market competition
- Develop seasonal concepts and technical design packages for Patrons of Peace
- Create and develop original print concepts, artwork direction, and print layouts
- Work closely with vendors on print strike-offs, color approvals, and print execution
- Create and update CADs, tech packs, and presentation boards
- Support fittings and communicate design revisions with technical designer.
- Organize and maintain design files, fabric libraries, print archives, and sample tracking
- Participate in market research
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of fashion design experience, preferably in Junior or Young Contemporary apparel
- Strong understanding of current trends and customer preferences
- Experience working with prints, patterns, and graphic layouts
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong sketching, CAD, and color sensibility
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and print techniques
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
- Positive attitude with a collaborative mindset
- Able to manage multiple projects at once
Preferred
- Familiarity with overseas development and vendor communication
- Familiarity with print development
- Experience in womenswear
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field
