Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency objectives are met
- Lead, motivate, and support production teams to achieve production schedules and optimize performance.
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and prompt resolution of production issues.
- Monitor production KPIs, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and root-cause analysis methods.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in new product introductions (NPI) and process qualification activities.
- Support the implementation of production plans, staffing requirements, and equipment utilization strategies to meet demand.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to build technical capability, engagement, and a strong culture of ownership.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, including material usage, downtime, and productivity metrics.
- Identify and recommend process improvements, equipment upgrades, and layout changes to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of production areas in alignment with 5S and workplace organization standards.
- Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes safety, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving advanced manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, or other advanced manufacturing industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems preferred.
