Bijou Lab is a fine and bridal jewelry brand specializing in floral inspired engagement rings made with exceptional craftsmanship. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Operations Coordinator and Client Support Assistant to support our day to day operations.
We are looking for a self starter individual ready to step in and contribute immediately. This role is ideal for someone looking for a dependable but flexible career and enjoys working with a small team. Your primary role is to support daily operations, aid in client support and manage order fulfillment. We are looking for someone highly detail oriented as this role handles high value transactions, positive, enthusiastic about learning and willing to help out wherever needed while learning new skills and about all things diamonds and engagement rings. We are looking for someone who is patient, and dedicated to providing outstanding and friendly support.
If you are passionate about contributing to the rapid growth of a small business, and want to gain experience in jewelry. Operations experience and proficiency in Project Management software/CRM is a plus. Must be a collaborative team player!

Description of Work:
- Part-time role located in Towson, MD 21286
- 3 days/week in-person (Prefer M, T, Th or M-W)
- Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Flexible
E-Commerce:
- Fulfill and pack orders securely and carefully, ensuring accuracy and that all items are protected during transit.
- Create and print shipping labels using our shipping software.
- Double checking all orders to ensure there are no shipping errors.
- Organize and maintain shipping supplies and inventory.
- Prepare and ship items to the courier
- Prepare and send clients shipment status emails
Client Success:
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the front line of communication
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, ensuring clarity and positivity
- Gain a deep understanding of our products/services to provide accurate and helpful responses.
- Provide order follow-up, shipment tracking, and order updates.
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Uphold our brand values in all written communications, ensuring friendly, helpful and patient communication with all clients
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a reliable car
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn and help out
- Past jewelry experience not required, willingness to help and learn about jewelry is
- Positive can do attitude
- High standards in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace
- Experience in customer service, preferably in an email-focused role is a plus
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to empathize with customers and manage difficult situations with professionalism.
