What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate position at Biggs, Inc?
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within the accounting team.
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly.
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support audits and provide documentation as requested.
Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
