Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and serving customers promptly and courteously.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment, including equipment and work surfaces.
- Assist in inventory management and food preparation as needed, ensuring high-quality service at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and serving techniques
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha and Micros
- Strong time management and sales skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Experience in food preparation and food service environments
