Big Fork is seeking friendly, reliable, and service-driven Server/Bartenders to join our seasonal team at both Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek Golf Course locations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and take pride in delivering excellent guest experiences.
As a Server/Bartender, you will provide attentive, efficient service to restaurant and bar guests while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, make food and beverage recommendations, and take orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standards
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns when needed
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, bar, and service areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Work a flexible seasonal schedule, including weekends and holidays
Shift Expectations (Opening, Mid, & Closing)
This position requires flexibility to work opening, mid-shift, and closing shifts at either location.
- Opening Shifts: Responsible for full setup of bar and service areas; must arrive on time and ready to work, as these shifts set the tone for the day
- Mid-Shifts: Maintain strong service flow, support both bar and floor operations, and assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
- Closing Shifts: Complete all closing duties thoroughly, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the space for the next day
Reliability and punctuality are essential for all shifts.
Each shift plays a critical role in operations, and team members are expected to be on time, prepared, and accountable.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, outdoor environment
- Excellent multitasking and teamwork abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability throughout the golf season
