Certified Fleet Diesel Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and fleet vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on fleet and commercial vehicles
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, emissions, fuel, and drivability systems
- Complete work in accordance with Ford manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
- Accurately document all diagnostics, repairs, and recommended services
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and fleet managers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Ensure timely turnaround of fleet vehicles while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
Certified Fleet Diesel Technician Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $50.00 to $57.00 an hour

Certified Fleet Diesel Technician Qualifications
- Certified Diesel Technician (Ford certification preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing diesel engines and fleet vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel, electrical, emissions, and drivability systems
- Proven experience performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and major diesel repairs
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and repair software
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced fleet/service environment
- Commitment to safety standards and dealership procedures
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
