SUMMARY
The Truckfitters Salesperson is responsible to drive sustainable revenue and profit growth for an assigned Truckfitters location through executing the “Go to Market Strategy” for truckbed installations and truck and trailer upfitting as well as driving critical operational processes. Owning the Truckfitters Experience in assigned locations, assuring brand standards and a culture of unmatched customer service is executed at the highest level. Leading the Truckfitters location to grow share focusing on growing our retail, commercial/government, and fleet businesses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales to achieve Truckbed, Parts & Service revenue and profit targets for Truckfitters location
- Assure highest quality of customer service in the selling of Truckbeds, Parts & Service
- Grow and maintain commercial/government and fleet accounts
- Assures Brand Standards are met at location
- Manage parts inventory and merchandising standards
- Maintain the service schedule with tight coordination with store manager and shop leadership
- Leads bidding process for large commercial/government and fleet accounts
Essential Functions
- Grow topline revenue through executing the Truckfitters Selling Strategy driving customer conversion and customer satisfaction
- Manage profitability through the management of product and service margins and appropriate operational processes. Implement corrective actions and accelerations where appropriate
- Manage inventory process to maintain proper in-stock levels and inventory accuracy
- Understand customer needs, market dynamics and competitive influences to best position Truckfitters services in market
- Conducts frequent visits with key and potential accounts to cultivate new relationships and maintain current relationships
- Maintains and develops partnerships with key suppliers
- Other Duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Proven track record of outside sales
- 5 years’ experience in retail/wholesale parts & service
- Proven ability to identify market opportunities and capitalize upon them
- Valid Driver’s License
- Sales license and/or ability to obtain sales license
Preferred Education and Experience
- Trailer/Truck upfitting experience

Physical Demands

Occasional using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to sit; stand, walk, occasionally required to climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, move over uneven surfaces.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Regular operation of computers, telephone, and printer/copier/scanner/fax.
- Regular operation of automobiles. Infrequent operation of tractors, forklifts, and other power equipment.
Work Hours
This position is full-time. Work week is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays (Except company holidays). 50 hours per week.
Travel
Regular local travel by automobile estimated at 30%.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
