Big Sur Land Trust (BSLT) is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Associate, Development Operations & Analytics to support our fundraising efforts through strong CRM management, donor insights, and operational excellence.
This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of donor data, enabling effective audience segmentation, and delivering actionable insights that drive fundraising performance. You’ll work closely with the Chief Philanthropy Officer and cross-functional teams to support a seamless donor experience and data-informed decision-making.
- Maintain and optimize Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate donor records and data integrity
- Perform data cleaning, deduplication, and quality assurance
- Segment donor audiences to support targeted outreach and campaigns
- Develop dashboards and deliver reporting on fundraising performance
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Support gift processing, donor acknowledgments, and stewardship tracking
- Partner across development, finance, and communications teams
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- 2–5 years of experience in development operations, data management, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM (NPSP preferred)
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data segmentation
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising environments is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization or marketing automation tools preferred
- Salary range: $71,000–$81,000 annually
