Big Sur Land Trust (BSLT) is seeking a strategic and creative Manager, Marketing & Communications to help shape how we share our mission, elevate our brand, and inspire deeper community engagement and philanthropy.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving integrated marketing and communications strategies that expand visibility, strengthen storytelling, and support fundraising growth. Working closely with the Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will collaborate across teams to build meaningful connections with our community and supporters.
✨ What You’ll Do- Lead and evolve BSLT’s brand, voice, and visual identity
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns (including our 50th Anniversary initiative)
- Create compelling, audience-centered content across digital, print, and in-person channels
- Align marketing strategies with fundraising goals to drive engagement and revenue
- Partner cross-functionally to amplify program impact and storytelling
- Manage external partners, agencies, and creative collaborators
- Track performance metrics and continuously optimize campaigns
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand strategy
- Strong communication management, storytelling, and campaign leadership skills
- Experience developing brand strategy and executing engagement or fundraising campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics, and audience segmentation
- Passion for mission-driven work (nonprofit experience a plus)
- Salary range: $83,000–$93,000 annually
