We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Therapy Clinic Administrator to join our team at Big Stone Therapies. This individual will be responsible for managing daily clinic operations, including scheduling patient appointments, managing staff schedules, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and experience working in a healthcare setting. Additionally, this role involves managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling: Schedule new referrals, gather demographic and insurance information, schedule and reschedule patient appointments, monitor patient schedules, perform patient appointment reminders, provide instructions to patients, resolve scheduling conflicts, and assess staffing needs.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions, receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails, maintain the waiting room appearance, and maintain confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information.
- Other Duties: Distribute mail, scan, fax, and print documents, clean and sanitize clinic areas, order supplies, maintain patient charts, perform opening and closing duties, and attend meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, two-year degree in a related field preferred, and previous experience in a medical office setting or customer service-related field.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, excellent verbal and written communication skills, phone etiquette, and adaptability in a changing environment.
