Help people regain independence where it matters most: in their everyday lives.
We’re looking for a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with strong generalist rehabilitation skills (neuro, mental health, etc.) to join our supportive, collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Our practice serves a large adult population, giving you the opportunity to do meaningful, challenging work with people navigating stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions. Through mobile outpatient care, you’ll help clients build skills, adapt routines, and participate more fully in life within their own homes and communities.
Love pediatrics, too? Pediatric clients may be available based on your interests. This role is primarily adult focused, and pediatric treatment is optional.
What you’ll do
- Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Help clients improve daily living skills, functional mobility, upper extremity function, cognition, and participation in meaningful activities.
- Bring strong clinical observation, creativity, and practical problem solving to adult neurological rehabilitation.
- Educate clients and caregivers on strategies that support safety, independence, and carryover between visits.
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, and SLPs to support coordinated, whole-person care.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation and communicate changes in client needs.
What we’re looking for
- Current Montana Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Strong skills and experience in adult neurological rehabilitation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation for visits in clients’ homes and community settings.
- Strong communication, organization, and professional judgment.
- A compassionate, dependable teammate who enjoys helping people reach meaningful goals.
Why join Big Sky?
You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about our clients and one another. We value your ideas, celebrate progress, and work together through clinical challenges. You’ll have opportunities to use your strengths, keep learning, and see the real-life impact of your work.
