Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Adjunct Instructor role located in Pikeville, KY. The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering course curriculum in their area of expertise, assisting students in achieving their academic and career goals, and maintaining accurate student records. Other responsibilities include assessing student performance, participating in professional development activities, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain academic standards.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching, instructional design, and curriculum development skills
• Subject matter expertise within the relevant academic discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse learners
• Organizational skills to manage class schedules, grading, and administrative tasks effectively
• Master's degree in the relevant discipline or closely related field required; prior teaching experience preferred
• Willingness to incorporate technology and innovative teaching approaches into instruction
