Big Sandy Area Community Action Program is looking for a
LIHEAP Supervisor to join our team in our Paintsville office.
Position Summary The LIHEAP Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program operations for our five-county service area.
Job duties and details:
· Overseeing LIHEAP vendor relations including assembling and distributing vendor packets, arranging vendor meetings, and maintaining vendor lists
· Attending all required training to maintain current knowledge of LIHEAP eligibility and requirements
· Maintaining all required electronic databases and paper filing required by contract
· Collecting all completed applications and reviewing for completeness and accuracy
· Completing all required reporting
· Following LIHEAP compliance review tools for monitoring
· Investigating all complaints of fraud and abuse related to LIHEAP
· Training employees
Minimum Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in business, human services, social work, or related field
· Experience determining eligibility and documentation
· Attention to detail
· Valid driver’s license and access to an automobile
· Hire subject to agency policy on required background checks and drug screening.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
