| Perform safety equipment inspections and support fire/life-safety system testing while providing on-site first responder and safety investigation assistance. |

| Qualifications |
| 1) High school diploma/GED required; technical training or certification preferred. 2) 2 years experience in safety inspections, fire protection systems, industrial maintenance, or emergency response preferred. 3) CPR/AED/First Aid required or ability to obtain; EMR or EMT-B preferred. 4) Strong documentation discipline and ability to use tracking systems (Inspect-Track or equivalent). 5) Mechanical aptitude; able to use basic tools/test equipment as assigned. 6) Valid driver's license; able to access industrial areas and wear required PPE. |
| Working Conditions and Physical Requirements |
| Work occurs in office and active industrial environments. Must be able to walk long distances, climb stairs/ladders, and wear required PPE. May require bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling during inspections, drills, and incident response. Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs routinely (more with assistance). Will require after-hours response during emergencies or severe weather events. Increased coordination duties and event response expectations. Schdeule is subject to change depending on needs of department and company, including afterhours and weekends. Shared Department weekend coverage will be included in requirements as increased safety and response knowledge grows. |
