Ignite Dispensary Manager

Job Summary
The Dispensary Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a licensed cannabis dispensary, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations. This role involves managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory, delivering exceptional customer service, and implementing operational policies to ensure a safe, efficient and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Manage dispensary staff including scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and taking disciplinary actions.
• Edit employee timesheets and submit them to payroll.
• Operate and troubleshoot the dispensary's point of sales system.
• Operate Metrc (the state "seed to sale" system) including intaking new product and manifesting returns.
• Upload invoices and report sales to QuickBooks.
• Uphold all state regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Assist in training new staff members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
• Participate in ongoing education regarding new products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience with product demonstrations is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations.
• A genuine interest in cannabis culture and products is essential.
