Health services director
The Health Services Director leads and provides oversight of our health services department ensuring the highest quality of service for the individuals we support. In this high-impact role, you will blend administrative leadership with hands-on clinical care, serving as a vital bridge between our clients and medical professionals while sharing medical knowledge to increase the skill set of our direct support professionals. You have the opportunity to be directly connected with the individuals we support and our employees while building lasting relationships.
Responsibilities include providing leadership, direction, and supervision of health services department while ensuring quality standards of such provision of services is maintained at all times. Serves as a liaison between BLDC and medical professional to advocate for and meet needs of persons served. Reviews and monitors administration, storage, and charting of medications, ensures accuracy of medication charts, and trains staff in medication administration protocols. Conducts assessments and lab draws per physician’s orders. Maintains health services clinic in alignment with established protocols. Minimum qualifications include high school graduate or equivalent with valid State of Kansas Registered Nurse License (RN), and four years relevant experience. Bachelor degree preferred. Strong assessment and training skills required and long-term care or disability service experience strongly desired. Must have good driving record. Full-time exempt position. Pay is commensurate with experience and education. Employees may be eligible for retention bonuses up to $2000.00 through second year of employment.
Salary : $2,000
