Associate, Marketing Strategy & EngagementReports to: Senior ManagerType: Full-timeLocation: In-person; Glastonbury, CTRole OverviewBig Fish Marketing Collective is seeking a motivated, personable Associate to join our Marketing Strategy & Engagement team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in outreach, event marketing, and audience strategy while supporting client programs. You will play a central role in identifying and securing event locations that connect brands directly with their target audiences.High performers will have opportunities to take on more client-facing responsibilities, contribute to strategy and process improvements, and grow toward more senior roles over time.Hiring Timeline: We aim to fill this position within the next month. If your availability is more than five weeks out, we encourage you to reconsider applying.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify on site or event locations that align with client goals and target audiencesCapture details/manage expectations for guidelines/permits for on-site location activationManage a high volume of phone and email outreach to secure event participationBuild and maintain strong relationships with location contactsTrack outreach activity, responses, and bookings using Monday.comCoordinate with events scheduler to manage high-volume activation/events calendar ensuring set goals are met.Adapt plans and messaging to meet shifting client prioritiesMaintain clear notes and recaps to support team alignmentContribute ideas to improve outreach scripts, processes, and targeting strategiesSupport program planning and reporting to prepare for eventual client-facing responsibilitiesFlexibility in down time to work on ad hoc company projects and needsWho You ArePersonable, confident, and comfortable speaking on the phoneGoal-oriented and motivated by measurable outcomesStrong skill set for managing and reporting weekly status updatesHighly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities with accuracyCollaborative team player who can also work independentlyAdaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong problem-solving skills with a client-focused, proactive approachStrategic thinker who is eager to learn how daily tasks connect to broader client objectivesA team player who is willing to pitch in when other departments are not resourced for the volume of workloadWhat Success Looks LikeConsistently meeting or exceeding event booking goalsMaintaining clarity and accuracy in all tracking and communicationTaking initiative to adjust outreach approachesProactively identifying opportunities to improve outreach, planning, and reportingDemonstrating readiness for expanded client-facing and program management responsibilitiesResponsiveness to lending a hand when additional duties are requested outside of the primary job functionQualificationsBachelor's degree required1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, communications, events, outreach, or other customer-facing roles preferredAbility to be in Glastonbury, CT office 5 days a weekStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and Monday.com (willing to learn Monday.com if not trained)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailWhat We OfferPaid, structured training with hands-on learning to develop outreach and event marketing skillsExposure to marketing, event campaigns, and strategic client programsSupportive team culture with opportunities for professional developmentPerformance-based incentivesOpportunities to work on nationally recognized client programsA fast paced and high-energy experiential marketing work environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $55,000-$60,000 plus bonus opportunityPaid time offHealth Insurance401k
