Duties
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Supervise daily store operations, including stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail transactions, cash handling, and cash register operations.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing stock replenishment.
- Train and supervise team members on sales techniques, POS usage, phone etiquette, and customer service standards.
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or leadership experience in Furniture sales or retail sales.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail math calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail store product knowledge tasks such as merchandising and product demos.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Knowledge of furniture store procedures including stocking, cashiering, and retail sales transactions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations; familiarity with phone etiquette is preferred.
