Job Description

We are an established, fast-growing local cleaning company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.

This role services a balanced mix of residential homes and commercial office spaces throughout the Northwest Suburbs. You will start with 10 to 15 hours per week, making this an ideal fit for someone seeking a dependable secondary income, student-friendly hours, or a pathway into a larger role. As we onboard new recurring accounts, there will be immediate opportunities to increase your weekly hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks across residential homes and commercial office facilities.
• Dust surfaces, disinfect high-touch areas, wipe counters, baseboards, and window sills.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface flooring.
• Thoroughly sanitize restrooms and kitchens/breakrooms, restocking paper goods and soap dispensers as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets, replace liners, and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Travel between assigned job sites in a punctual and reliable manner.
• Follow customer checklist specifications and maintain secure key/alarm code procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior professional residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is strongly preferred; commercial janitorial experience is a plus.
• Transportation: Must have your own reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance to travel between job sites (Required).
• Attention to Detail: Pride in producing spotless work and catching the small details others miss.
• Physical Capability: Ability to bend, kneel, stand, lift up to 25–30 lbs, and remain active on your feet during shifts.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, excellent punctuality, and consistent communication.
• Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check prior to onboarding.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
