What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Route Sales Merchandiser position at Big Boy Ice Cream?
Direct store delivery, Ice Cream Sales Merchandisers needed. Creating opportunities and developing methods of selling ice cream to various channels of business. Customer relations specialist, freedom to achieve success through guidance of our 65 year family company and a 100 year old ice cream manufacture combined experience for endless career opportunities. Routes cover Phoenix and surrounding areas. Office is located in Phoenix.
Skills Required:
Strong customer service, bilingual, good communication skills, fast, organized and must be comfortable using a vending or portable hand held unit.
Duties:
Creating Sales, outstanding customer communications, point of sale marketing, merchandise freezers, cleaning, de-icing, maintaining assigned convenience store routes for quality. Understand objectives to achieve weekly goals. Delivering freezer cabinets, event ice cream carts and/or picking them up to and from customer locations. Open new sales accounts towards growth.
Typical Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday; May need to work weekends occasionally or as needed if route account route runs behind.
Requirements:
Must have a clean driving record, excellent driving skills and a clean background for security badge clearance. Self motivated. Will use a hand held device to invoice customers and perform daily inventory.
Extra: Bi-Lingual is a plus
