Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and lowboy trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems to meet delivery schedules across various locations.
• Assist with logistics cargo handling, including freight inspection, documentation, and inventory management.
• Load and unload trucks with precision, managing freight such as oversized loads.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance needs.

Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A), endorsements are a plus.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving within logistics or transportation industries
• Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures, and manual transmission operation
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard communication standards, and DOT safety requirements
• Experience handling freight in various configurations such as flatbed or lowboy
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy or awkward cargo
• Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
