The Bar Manager will oversee daily bar operations while also taking a hands-on role in planning events, booking live entertainment, developing community partnerships, and creating an exciting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, including opening, bartending and closing procedures
- Plan, organize, and execute events that increase traffic and enhance guest experience
- Book and coordinate live music, DJs, entertainment, and special events
- Build relationships within the Florence community to promote the bar and increase visibility
- Develop creative promotions, themed nights, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations
- Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure all staff follow alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices
- Monitor guest behavior and confidently make decisions regarding service refusal or guest removal when necessary
- Maintain compliance with all Alabama ABC regulations, health standards, and safety requirements
- Manage scheduling, staffing, inventory, and bar cleanliness
- Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain a positive environment
- Work closely with ownership/management to meet revenue and operational goals
- Assist with social media content ideas and promotional efforts when needed
- Significant bartending experience with a creative vision
- Strong knowledge of bar operations and nightlife management
- Experience planning events and booking entertainment talent
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Knowledge of Alabama alcohol laws and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to recognize intoxication levels and enforce policies confidently and professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing personality with strong community engagement skills
- Self-starter who can bring fresh ideas and help grow the business
