Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentoring to all operations teams within Biehl
- Maintain and update operational KPIs and ensure they are realized
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems and process training
- Ensure systems are utilized correctly and in accordance with process and policy
- Ensure communication with customers and vendors is timely, accurate and in line with business KPIs
- Ensure information is accurately entered into the port agency software system and port call process complies with company policy and KPIs
- Ensure work instructions for key customers are understood and adhered to
- Ensure relationships with key vendors is managed properly with discounts negotiated and tariff updates processed as soon as received
- Work with sales and marketing to ensure key customers and vendors are met with regularly and call reports provided
- Work with customers and vendors to gather feedback and ensure service levels are meeting or exceeding expectations

- Prior experience with ships, tugs, etc. and accompanying paperwork requirements preferred
- Minimum 10 to 15 years prior Agency, Husbandry or related experience
- Required to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps; reach; stand; walk; talk; and hear
- Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as analyzing figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading and visual inspection
- Worker is subject to environmental conditions both inside and outside, with no effective protection from weather, with sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard, and to physical hazards, such as moving parts, vehicles, electricity, heights, and large bodies of deep water
