Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling to support project timelines
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment on-site

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Prior construction site experience demonstrating safe operation of machinery in various environments
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required for operating or transporting heavy equipment and materials
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices
• Experience working with Caterpillar or similar brands of heavy machinery is highly desirable
