The position also drives operational excellence through strict safety compliance, continuous improvement, QA/QC collaboration, and strong client support throughout each project lifecycle.DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct and manage field and shop operations across multiple service lines, including refractory, corrosion, rubber lining and scaffoldingEnsure safe, efficient, and quality-driven execution of workCollaborate with project managers to plan and allocate resources, including labor, materials and equipmentMonitor job progress, resolve operational challenges, and ensure timely project deliverySupervise and support frontline supervisors, foremen, and field personnel.Oversee scheduling, performance management, training, and adherence to company policies and proceduresEnforce strict compliance with company safety programs, client requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, MSHA)Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvementEnsure all operational activities meet or exceed quality standardsWork with QA/QC teams to develop and implement inspection procedures, resolve non-conformities, and drive corrective actionsSupport client relationships through operational excellence, responsiveness, and problem-solvingParticipate in planning meetings, progress reviews, and job walkdowns as requiredEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.7 years of operational experience in industrial services or heavy industry, with 3 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesIn-depth understanding of industrial service operations, particularly in refractory, coatings, rubber lining, and scaffoldingExceptional problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesWorking knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations relevant to industrial job sitesProficient in project coordination tools, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite ***PLEASE NOTE: We try to respond to everyone who applies for our jobs, but in periods of high activity it may not be possible.
