Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to lead and nurture our faith community. The ideal candidate will serve as a spiritual leader, providing guidance, support, and inspiration to individuals and families. This role involves delivering impactful sermons, offering Christian counseling, and fostering a welcoming environment that encourages spiritual growth. As a vital part of our church family, the Pastor will inspire hope, promote unity, and uphold the core values of our faith community through active engagement and compassionate leadership.

Duties

• Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse congregations
• Provide Christian counseling to individuals and families facing life challenges or crises
• Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and special religious events
• Offer bereavement support and hospice care guidance to grieving families
• Mentor church members, including youth and emerging leaders, fostering spiritual development
• Organize community outreach programs, workshops, and faith-based events
• Manage conflict resolution within the congregation with sensitivity and professionalism
• Facilitate crisis intervention efforts during emergencies or spiritual crises
• Develop educational materials, presentations, and sermons to communicate biblical principles effectively
• Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of church activities

• Proven leadership abilities to guide a faith community with integrity and compassion
• Skilled in teaching biblical principles through various formats including sermons, classes, and workshops
• Experience in event planning for religious gatherings, retreats, and outreach initiatives
• Proficiency in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques
• Knowledge of bereavement support practices and hospice care principles
• Ability to provide Christian counseling with empathy and confidentiality
• Effective mentoring skills to develop future church leaders and volunteers
• Conflict management skills to navigate sensitive situations within the congregation
