About Bible City:
Bible City is a new nonprofit with a big heart for community. Our mission is to create a Christ centered environment where people especially young adults can build real friendships, grow in faith, and experience a sense of belonging beyond the walls of a church. Through intentional gatherings, community events, and authentic connection, we aim to help people find purpose and live out their faith together. As a newly established organization, we're just getting started but we're excited for all that God has in store.
The Ministry Coordinator plays a key role in helping make Bible City’s mission a reality. This position is for someone who loves Jesus, values community, and enjoys bringing people together. You’ll help plan and organize events, support ministry initiatives, and work closely with the LA Director to strengthen outreach and engagement in the city.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating Bible City events and community gatherings
- Help create an inviting, Christ centered atmosphere at every event
- Support communication and outreach efforts to connect new people to the community
- Work closely with the LA Director to execute ministry goals
- Build relationships and encourage others in their walk with Jesus
- Collaborate with volunteers and team members to bring ideas to life
Requirements
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Passion for helping others grow in their faith
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to plan and coordinate events (experience preferred but not required)
- Heart for community and people of all ages, especially young adults
