Child Development Assistant Teacher/Teacher's Aide

Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and reliable Assistant Daycare Teacher / Teacher’s Aide to support our teaching staff in a fast-paced childcare environment. This role assists the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities, child supervision, and maintaining a clean and nurturing learning space.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime
• Engage with children in age-appropriate activities that support development
• Observe and assist with managing children’s behavior
• Help maintain daily activity logs and reports for parents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Assist with caring for children with special needs or disabilities as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive classroom experience
• Must be willing to travel to all locations including Prattville

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with young children preferred
• Experience in a licensed daycare facility is a plus
• Previous experience caring for children under 4 preferred
• Willingness to follow lesson plans and classroom guidance
• First Aid and CPR Certification beneficial
