HOST must abide by new Covid-19 Rules We count on our Host / Hostess / Greeter for a number of duties. Friday - Saturday 5PM - 10PM The Host / Hostess / Greeter is responsible for cheerfully greeting the guests, escorting them to their table, providing them with a menu, and answering any preliminary questions. * Manage the customer experience. * Keep the dining room clean/bus some tables * Reservations and Walk-in lists – YELP reservations * Follow company policies and applicable laws. * Monitor table rotations. * Keep track of prepared tables for new guests. * Answer the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders. Follow new restrictions on Covid-19 seating that change daily. What's the best thing about being a host at Cubanitas? Working environment is professional but maintains that small business feeling. Set schedule: Friday & Saturday evenings from 5PM - 10PM max Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job. Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitr' d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.
Requirements/Responsibilities
* Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person
* Must dress in a professional manner that is appropriate for Cubanitas
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Spanish speaking a plus
* Basic computer skills required; familiarity with scheduling software and YELP RESERVATION is a plus.
* A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service
* Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
* Punctual, patient, and mindful
