Overview
Join our legal team as an Entry Level Paralegal specializing in Workers' Compensation law! Position is available for someone with at least 1 year but less than 2 years experience and offers an opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You will assist with case management, legal research, document review, and client communication, all while developing your skills in a variety of legal areas.
Duties
- Support attorneys with case preparation by organizing and reviewing legal documents related to workers' compensation claims
- Completion of attorney transcription
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including reports, correspondence, and pleadings with precision and clarity
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical files
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining case calendars
- Collaborate with team members on litigation support activities and ensure timely submission of documents
Skills
- Understanding of Workers' Compensation law is a plus
- Proficient in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review processes
- Ability to provide administrative support including calendar management and correspondence handling
- Exceptional written communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette and clerical experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage data entry tasks accurately while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
