Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing project schedules, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a background in construction estimating, project management, and the use of office programs. The Project Manager Estimator will play a key role in bidding processes, contract negotiations, and overseeing project timelines from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed and accurate construction estimates.
- Prepare and review project bids, proposals, and contracts ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and Schematics for project scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assess project scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for estimating and project planning.
- Manage project timelines by creating and maintaining schedules..
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, update schedules, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding project status.
- Assist in contract negotiations and ensure contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols on construction sites and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating.
- Must be motivated and self driven.
- Prior experience managing or coordinating small and large-scale construction projects from bidding through completion.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts management, and construction site operations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction management principles including project scheduling, resource allocation, and contract administration.
- Background in construction estimating or related fields is preferred but not mandatory if extensive relevant experience is demonstrated. Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
