PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/CLASSROOM COORDINATOR

• You establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, families, and community partners
• You have strong reading, writing, and communication skills
• You are comfortable using technology and learning new programs and systems
• You have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• You are supportive, collaborative, and passionate about helping staff grow professionally

• Serve as a trainer for staff on-boarding, assessment, curriculum, and other professional development trainings
• Support the logistical and technical aspects of staff trainings and professional development opportunities
• Coach staff through observation, reflective feedback, and modeling best practices
• Supervise the Coach and two teaching teams by providing classroom support in Walker and Pine River, including filling in as needed
• Maintain coaching documentation, notes, and records
• Work directly with staff pursuing their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Collaborate with leadership teams to strengthen program quality and staff success

• Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education, or a baccalaureate or advanced degree and equivalent coursework in early childhood education, with early education teaching experience.
• 2 years prior classroom and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• You must have transportation available to attend meetings/training.

10 months (August – May) Full time, 40 hours/week, $25.81 - $36.14/hr. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/add and retirement plan benefits. Paid time off, holiday pay. Retention bonus eligible.

Flexible schedule based on program needs. Home office will be at the Bemidji Head Start Center.
