Job Summary
The Recycling Plant Operator controls water flows, PLC controls for our FOG (Fat, Oils and Grease) recovery system and processes through plant equipment DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) systems. Perform tests, maintenance, etc. to ensure proper operation of all wastewater-related and FOG recycling equipment. Other duties as assigned by the Division Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Proper operation of the evaporator.

• Proper operation of plant DAF skimmer.
• Chemical inventory and addition throughout wastewater treatment processes.
• Perform wastewater test as needed.
• Proper operation of DAF
• Proper operation of FOG recovery system
• Control flows throughout wastewater treatment processes
• Daily cleaning of FOG recovery system components.
• Help with maintenance projects or work around responsibility.
• Unloading tanker trailers and trucks for the purpose of recycling FOG

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1-year prior experience in a wastewater facility or processing plant production environment.
• Familiarity with industrial wastewater processing
• Must be a self-starter and stay busy with constructive work with little supervision.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Wastewater education and training

Wage Range: 21.00 - 24.00 per hour
