Summary/Objective
The Facilities Assistant performs general administrative office and clerical support services of the department.
Essential Job Duties

- Assists in maintaining the Department personnel, accounting, vendor and all other files and records in an orderly fashion that facilitates document retrieval.
- Assigns appropriate cost center for all vendor invoices and purchase, orders submit for signatures for approval, then forwards to accounting to process for payment; as well as, submits any quotes for work to be done for approval to receive a purchase order.
- Preparation and management of documents on special projects such as FEMA, Insurance, and Litigation and contracts.
- Assist with work order system delegation to maintenance personnel.
- Acts as liaison between Transportation and departments in the hospital assisting with scheduling patients, delivery of films and taking calls for lab runs, schedule meeting rooms and appointments and keeps minutes as needed.
- Preparation of spreadsheets and financial reports for budget analysis.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of related experience
