Position: Summer Paraprofessional(s)
Requirements: Associates Degree or High School Diploma with passing grade on Para Pro exam.
Qualifications: Demonstrated enthusiasm with demonstrated ability to work with students with diverse needs; Excellent communication skills; Demonstrated ability to work with multiple staff. Other qualifications as established by the District.
Starting Date: July 6, 2026 – August 6, 2026 (some positions may be assigned June 22, 2026 – August 21, 2026 or a
variation of those dates)
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm with potential availability to work until 3:00 pm
Salary/Stipend: Current BHRSD Paraprofessionals: Hourly rate based on FY27 hourly rate (currently in negotiations)
Returning Non-BHRSD Paraprofessionals: Hourly Rate to be 3% above previous year hourly rate
First Year Non-BHRSD Paraprofessionals: Step 1 of BHEA Unit C Contract (currently in negotiations)
