Job Description
BHL Federal is seeking a site superintendent to join our North Carolina division which is responsible for reconstruction and rehabilitation of traditional residential site-built homes and manufactured housing units (MHUs). In this role, you will be the eyes and ears of the company ensuring progress is made in the field every day.
Most of the superintendent's time will be spent on jobsites and driving between them. The candidate must be prepared to spend significant amounts of time driving. Occasional check-ins with the Marion office will be expected in person.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of subcontractors, material deliveries, and local inspections.
- Quality assurance and quality control of all projects.
- Posting permits and drawings in job boxes on site.
- Performing routine inspections of projects and holding subs accountable.
- Receiving material deliveries and confirming the contents are correct.
- Taking jobsite pictures in company cam and adding notes for construction manager and director of compliance.
- Performing pre-construction inspections with homeowner and client.
- Flagging and spray-painting septic tanks, sewer lines, water lines, and uncovering utility connections.
- Performing final inspections and collecting homeowner signatures and documentation.
- Run to hardware stores and building suppliers to deliver missing materials on the fly.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project locations
- Willingness to occasionally work off-hours or weekends to meet project needs
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Coursework or degree in construction, engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in construction, estimating, permitting, or project coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently while following defined processes and deadlines
- Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.

Compensation
- Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule
- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- In-person: Marion office and project sites
