In This Role You Will:
- Assists residents with personal care and activities of daily living as assigned, in accordance with the service plan and state and federal regulations.
- Responds to resident calls and alerts promptly and adheres to assignments and care schedules.
- Performs daily housekeeping tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures. Demonstrate courtesy and respect for residents and their belongings.
- Encourages participation and assists residents with getting to and from scheduled life enrichment, spiritual, and other programs.
- Notes pertinent resident information for oncoming shifts and makes verbal and/or written reports as needed
- Promotes independence and the ability to make personal choices and provides encouragement and support to residents, as needed
- Communicates to supervisor and/or other departments when residents needs arise and/or change
- Promptly reports and incidents, accidents, or sudden changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor
- Adheres with all requirements related to confidentiality/HIPAA, established infection control practices, company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Shift Details:
- Hours: 11p-7a; Fulltime this position will require you to work every other weekend and some holidays.
Who You Are:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Have prior experience working as caregiver, resident aide, preferred.
- A compassionate team player and have passion to work with the elderly!
