In This Role You Will:
- Performs functions to maintain the community's buildings and grounds in good condition throughout the year.
- Completes work order requisitions as assigned by performing corrective and preventative maintenance duties
- Documents resolutions accurately and closes work orders promptly upon completion.
- Evaluates and troubleshoots problems with equipment and systems such as; plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and other systems in buildings throughout the community and in accordance with the technician's scope of expertise, education and/or training
- Assists contractors with their work, at the direction of the supervisor
- Performs renovation and turnover maintenance,; including cleaning, patching, scraping, painting, to ensure units are completed on schedule and in accordance with resident's selections
- Replaces HVAC filters, light bulbs, services water softeners and performs all other necessary repairs and/or maintenance to the building, equipment, and furnishings
- Installs appliances and other equipment, hangs pictures and assembles and/or disassembles equipment and furnishings
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Shift Details: Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm with a weekend rotation
Who You Are:
- Detail orientated individual with a 1-3 years general maintenance experience with plumbing and/or electrical experience
- HVAC Certification required
- Physically capable of labor that requires bending, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting and carrying objects
