Are you passionate about helping others and looking to give back in a meaningful way? BHcare is seeking dedicated Volunteers to support our Social Rehabilitation Program, which helps adults with mental health needs build skills, connect with others, and thrive in their daily lives.
Who We Are
BHcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic offering a comprehensive system of care to adults, children, and families facing mental health, substance use, or domestic violence challenges. Our Social Rehabilitation Program provides a structured, supportive environment where clients can participate in group activities that promote personal growth, social engagement, and wellness.
What You’ll Do as a Volunteer
Volunteers play a key role in helping our program run smoothly and effectively. Tasks include:
• Assisting with prepping and cleaning up daily group activities
• Helping to lead and participate in group sessions
• Researching and suggesting ideas for creative and therapeutic group activities
• Accompanying staff and clients on community outings
• Providing one-on-one support to clients as needed
• Supporting staff with additional program-related tasks

Who We’re Looking For
• Individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help others
• Reliable and team-oriented volunteers who are comfortable in a group setting
• Prior experience in human services, behavioral health, or related fields is a plus—but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old
