Description
Perform janitorial and cleaning duties throughout our manufacturing plant and general facilities. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment for all employees.
Requirements
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in plant and facility areas
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly
- Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
- Change filters as needed throughout facility
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required
- Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Support cleanliness in production areas, including wiping down equipment and surfaces (non-technical)
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in an industrial or manufacturing environment
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
· Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
· Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
