Join our dynamic team as a Lease Operator/Pumper, where you'll play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas production facilities. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tankers to support lease activities and pipeline operations
- Monitor and control oil and gas flow from wells, ensuring safe and efficient production levels
- Conduct routine inspections of lease sites, pipelines, and associated infrastructure to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations and rigging tasks to support well development projects
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment logs, and safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards
- Support construction activities on-site by coordinating equipment movement and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational status, safety concerns, or equipment issues to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tankers within oil & gas or construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to oil rig equipment, pipeline systems, and general maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and pipeline installation processes
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols
- Prior experience working on oil rig sites or in the oil & gas industry is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement preferred for transporting materials safely
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including rigging, lifting heavy loads, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
