Accountant – Energy Services (High-Growth Opportunity)

About the Role
BH Energy Services, LLC is hiring an Accountant to support a rapidly growing energy specialty services platform focused on turnkey goods and services for natural gas processing, field services, and chemical solutions.
This is not a back-office-only role — you’ll work directly with leadership and operations, helping drive financial performance across active field projects and service lines.

What You’ll Do
- Own core accounting functions: GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financials and support leadership reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Support job costing / project-level financial visibility
- Partner with operations to identify margin improvement opportunities
- Communicate with other branch locations HQ processes all accounting
- Assist with audits, tax prep, and compliance (GAAP)
- Help improve systems (SOPs), workflows (processes), and financial controls (clearly defined responsibilities).
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience (public or industry)
- Strong understanding of financial statements reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks, AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Experience with Invoicing Portals (Coupa, Arriba, OpenInvoice
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
Nice to Have (Huge Plus)
- Oil & gas, midstream, or industrial services experience
- Job costing or project-based accounting background
- CPA
