Senior Accountant (General Ledger)

Overview
Seeking a Senior Accountant (GL) to join its expanding finance and accounting team. This role supports a complex, nationwide operation and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Support integration and accounting work related to acquisitions
- Assist with process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives
- Partner with team members across the accounting function to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of General Ledger accounting experience
- SAP ERP experience
- In-house/corporate accounting background
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Stable work history with consistent tenure
Preferred Qualifications
- Combination of public accounting and industry experience
- Experience working in a fast-growth or acquisition-focused organization
- CPA preferred but not required
