Senior Accountant (General Ledger)

Permanent | $90–110K | Hybrid (3–4 days in office)

Overview

Seeking a Senior Accountant (GL) to join its expanding finance and accounting team. This role supports a complex, nationwide operation and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Support integration and accounting work related to acquisitions
• Assist with process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives
• Partner with team members across the accounting function to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of General Ledger accounting experience
• SAP ERP experience
• In-house/corporate accounting background
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Stable work history with consistent tenure

Preferred Qualifications

• Combination of public accounting and industry experience
• Experience working in a fast-growth or acquisition-focused organization
• CPA preferred but not required
