What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Cashier position at BGR the Burger Joint?

Tasks:
Take customer orders at the counter
• Receive payments and present change to customers
• Pack food items, make coffee, and fill beverage cups
• Function as the host/hostess of the restaurant
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
• As with other personnel, the tasks at times might include making sandwich, shakes, and assist in restaurant opening and closing.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma coupled with experience in related positions, minimum of 3 years as well as working knowledge in a similar role
• Excellent mathematical, multitasking, and computer skills
• Proficiency in using POS system, computer, and other machines required for transactions
• Ability to work with flexibility in a continuous schedule of day, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
