We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 200-unit Class B apartment community in Colton, CA. This is a great opportunity for a strong, hands-on manager who enjoys building relationships, leading a team, and taking ownership of a community.
Compensation & Schedule
- $28–$30/hour
- 1-bedroom apartment included
- 2-bedroom apartment may be available if needed
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Full-time, onsite position
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily operations of a 200-unit apartment community
- Lead and support the onsite leasing team
- Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership
- Manage property financials, reporting, and budgets
- Oversee vendors, maintenance, and capital improvement projects
- Handle resident concerns and ensure excellent customer service
- Follow California renter laws, policies, and court procedures
- Manage delinquencies, notices, and other resident-related matters
- Maintain accurate property records and reports
- Identify opportunities to improve the community and resident experience
- Work closely with Jessica and ownership to meet property goals
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Property Manager experience, preferably in the Colton/Inland Empire market
- Experience managing a multifamily community
- Yardi experience required
- Experience with Yardi CRM and Yardi PayScan
- Strong understanding of property financials and reporting
- Knowledge of California renters’ rights and eviction/court procedures
- Strong vendor and resident relations experience
- Capital project experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Honest, dependable, and professional
- Creative problem-solver who takes initiative
- Bilingual preferred
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, chat platforms, and other technology
