BG Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to assist in leading and growing the surveying department within our firm. The successful individual will oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of surveying operations, assist in training and recruitment of staff, and maintain positive client relationships. This is an opportunity to play a key role within the firm and develop a long-term career investment, including the potential to advance to a shareholder position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of legal descriptions, easement descriptions, and estimates of survey needs
- Conduct boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys, primarily as support for engineering and architecture projects
- Plan preparation and construction layout
- Schedule field crews and ensure project deadlines are met
- Establish strategies to expand the department within the market area
- Develop and maintain public & client relationships
Requirements:
- Registered Professional Surveyor in Kansas with 2-10 years of experience preferred
- Knowledge of modern survey methods and surveying devices, including total station and GPS
- Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Salary : $69,905 - $124,607
