Manufacturing Machine Operator - Swing Shift

Beyond TalentEdge has partnered with a leading nationwide medical manufacturer. We are recruiting for experienced manufacturing operators that can interpret instructions and specifications and set up equipment. This position is responsible for quality and maintaining the highest standards in compliance within company policies, procedures and all applicable regulations. Accountable for adhering to all EHS guidelines.

Shift Schedule

• Firemen’s Rotation:
• Two 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM)
• Followed by two 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)

Operator Responsibilities:

• Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and approved documented processes.
• Independently operate a wide range of automated equipment and meet established performance metrics.
• Use inspection tools and perform visual inspections to verify product quality.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and support teams to ensure product quality and minimize waste and equipment downtime.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs; assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues as needed.
• Apply formal problem-solving tools and technical expertise to diagnose and resolve machinery issues.
• Escalate issues to the supervisor or crew lead when necessary (or in the supervisor’s absence).
• Complete device history records accurately, clearly, and in compliance with quality requirements.
• Participate in effective shift handoffs and crossovers.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with peers.
• Maintain up-to-date individual training records.
• Follow all established safety procedures and practices.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills for Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of experience in high-speed automated production, packaging, formulation process, and/or related systems
• 3-6 years of experience with manufacturing-based computer systems
• Ability to complete paperwork with high accuracy following good documentation practices
• Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions in English
• Ability to use handheld gauges and measurement devices

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: Based on Experience $20-$25 an hour
