We're hiring an experienced vet tech who can place IVs, monitor anesthesia, and handle anything that walks through the door. No micromanagement. No corporate bureaucracy. Just medicine.
The Job:
You'll work alongside Dr. Phil Good and a tight team doing real clinical work:
- IV catheter placement and venipuncture (cephalic, saphenous—you know the drill)
- Surgical assistance: prep, monitoring, aseptic technique
- Restraint and handling for anxious and fractious patients
- Diagnostics: bloodwork, urinalysis, fecals, digital rads
- Client communication: updates, discharge, education
- Medication prep and administration
This isn't a "hold the dog" role. You'll use your skills every day.
What We Need:
- 1 year clinical veterinary experience (non-negotiable)
- IV catheter proficiency (you should be confident, not learning)
- Solid grasp of vet terminology, pharmacology, and protocols
- Surgical and anesthesia monitoring experience
- Ability to handle dogs and cats of all temperaments
- Clear communicator—with clients and the team
Vet assistant program or college coursework is a plus, not required.
