What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at Beyond Infinity ABA?
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Behavior Technician to provide in-home and/or in-clinic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services full-time and part-time to children with autism and related developmental disorders. This role involves working one-on-one with clients in their home environment, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We service the Canton, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti areas!
Hours of operation:
Mon-Friday 8am-8pm
Saturday 10am-3pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in their home setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Collect, record, and report accurate session data
- Assist clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
- Follow behavior intervention plans and manage challenging behaviors appropriately
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment during sessions
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and supervising clinicians
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in ABA services
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remain organized
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
- Ability to pass a background check
Experience:
- Previous experience in ABA or working with children
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- RBT certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Experience with data collection and behavior management strategies
